Synopsis: A boy desires something different: One of those wild dancing jackalope women. He waits, steals the wive’s rabbit skin and throws it into the fire. But when she cries, he pulls it out again, and now she is half-way woman/jackalope. The boy asks his grandmother to set things right. At least, she knows who to ask.
Review: Grandma Harkness is a fascinating protagonist bearing lots of secrets, cleverly disclosed at the melancholical end. A straight story full of magical, poetical moments. The question of sacrifices and not to get everything that one wishes remains.
