Meta: ISFDB. Originally published in Analog Science Fiction and Fact July/August 2012 which also illustrates the story with its cover. I’ve read it in The Year’s Best Science Fiction: Thirtieth Annual Collection.
Drew Zeigler has come on a witness protection program to the lunar colony with a hitman on his tail. There is a lot of tense action in this simple popcorn-thriller and I like it because it is so different to the previous stories. Live, employment, recreation (moon ballet!) is believable. The story lacks a bit awesomeness because it is mainly routine with a somewhat longish setup. But the end was quite good and the story had lots of emotion as well.
